Good morning, good afternoon, good evening!

How are you holding up sweet one? None of that nonsensical fibbing please, just the real tender truth of how you're doing. Before you go off judging your emotional state as good or bad, may you be reminded that all versions of you are permitted. What you are feeling is meant for you, practice cradling this emotional state in loving awareness so that you may sit with what is. Is this easier said than done? Hell yah. But I believe it's important to work to cultivate peace and self empathy for what is going on so that we can become better at responding instead of firing reactiveness at everything that comes our way. Yoga is a lifestyle, not just a way of shaping our bodies.

Participating in this beautiful life has prolonged the embodiment of both grace and challenge, so naturally, I have continued to journal like a mad woman and I thought to myself, why not share some of this supremely helpful journalling prompts?

Marianne Williamson (spiritual author and educator) says that your greatest power is your power to change your mind. Given that we can easily get tangled in the sea of thoughts, truths, stories, and judgments that our minds are composed of, dumping out the contents of our minds into written words might be where we're able to harness this power of investigating and changing our minds. Reminder to take what you need and to leave the rest behind, but not at the expense of ignoring important inner work ;).

Here are some daily prompts that I have been working with lately:

- What has your greatest attention today?

- What does it mean for you to live meaningfully?

- What practice(s) return(s) you to the frequency of love?

Personally speaking, I believe that Journaling is a mental practice as well as a ritual that encourages us to explore who we are and how we are. I believe that this sets up the conditions for our homecoming, and our return to love, just as our yoga practice does. Whether you choose to write your heart out or move/dance your way into feeling, be reminded that the only way out is THROUGH. It's up to you to choose the practice that resonates, it's up to you to flex that sexy trust muscle and to believe that you're doing what's right for your exquisitely dynamic self. Judith Hanson Laseter said in a podcast I listened to recently "Practice is the act of remembering. Remembering our divinity, our highest self, our higher values. Our practice reminds us of the simplicity that life can offer us a mat, a body, a breath, a mind, an intention so that we may find refuge in ourselves."

Choose your practice dear one and let your essence, your inherent goodness, and your inner wisdom all be remembered.

Before I bore you to tears with the fluffy talk about heart matters, allow me to share a few more tidbits around trust, something that I have been grappling with as of late.

"Trust that your worth goes beyond what is seen and everyday is a part of a greater story of who you are becoming.

So choose courage, choose peace and choose to trust that when things don't turn out like you expect them to, you are still becoming who you are meant to be."

Get that journal of yours and begin again...

- What does trusting myself LOOK like? (e.g., posture, bodily expressions)

- What does trusting myself FEEL like? (e.g., sensations, energy)

- What is flexing MY unique trust muscle?

- Jot down the ways in which you will practice trusting yourself (e.g., no more confining to outer expectations, being unapologetically yourself, creating the vibe vs being influenced by the vibe, meditating to feel deep centering and connection...)
